Would a coach help?

Sometimes people don’t know what I mean when I say that I’m a health coach for cancer survivors. What do I do exactly? What service do I provide that people can’t get from their doctor? I think the best way to answer might be to share a bit of my story.

When I got my two aggressive back-to-back cancers, my doctors were amazed that I had relatively few side effects from the harsh treatments. Aside from being fatigued as my bone marrow tried to keep up, neuropathy and other common side effects were minimal or non-existent. They’d run down their laundry list of symptoms at each appointment and I’d say no to each one. I attribute that to my super healthy lifestyle (which I can teach you).

However, what I didn’t expect was the emotional healing that would need to happen after I completed treatment. My world was rocked with the cancer diagnoses and I seriously grieved my old life, my old body, and what I thought my future would be. I felt like I had been through a battle when it was all over and when my doctor said, “See you in three months!”, I felt like my support system was pulled out from under me.

The truth is that you have been through a battle as a cancer survivor. You are fatigued and physically damaged, possibly missing body parts, and traumatized. You need to rebuild your strength emotionally as well as physically.

This is where I can help. Your doctor is finished ridding your body of cancer, but you need support rebuilding in body, mind and spirit. I am uniquely qualified to offer that support as not only a board certified Integrative Health Coach but a double cancer survivor. I know what it’s like.

My next coaching group won’t be open for registration until the Fall but I have opened up 3 spots for one-on-one coaching. One-on-one coaching is so great because it is personalized to your unique needs. We work together toward achieving your health goals whether they’re mental or physical.

I will support you in a way that your doctor doesn’t have time to do. We’ll have weekly calls and offer the oh-so-important accountability factor so you take the steps to rebuild your strength and create a healthy lifestyle that will give you the greatest odds for Permanent Remission.

Call me at (425) 224-6785 to set up a free 30 minute consultation or schedule a meeting time that works for you by going to my online schedule by clicking here.

Don’t wait to get the support you need. You are worth it and cancer is hard. Believe me, I know.
